Willie myers III17 days agoThe Roofing Dudes were great to deal with. I heard a lot about them on the radio from WDJC 93.7 FM. When we had a storm come through we had both hail and straight line winds at the same time. We had debris from every where. Our poor house and yard was a dump site from debris. We had damage to our roof, siding, gutters, fence, and Gazebo. Our insurance company Alfa did a great job working with the Roofing Dudes. Mark and Mariah were excellent to work with. The company replaced my roof, gutters, and siding complete under my insurance claim. Their team and installers were punctual, professional, courteous, and kind. I do recommend them for you exterior needs. Our house looks amazing!+2Posted on Google
Monica Roland34 days agoI had this team do some work on my 6 year old roof that was put on by the previous owner of my home. The brutal summer head was causing heat to get trapped in my attic and the original roof installers didn't utilize proper ventilation. This was forcing hot attic air down through outlets and light fixtures and creating a surface mold buildup type situation. The heat even caused 65 year old paneling to pop off the walls. While it wasn't dangerous mold, it looked horrible. This team came within 24 hours of the original call to assess the situation. They determined that a ridge vent was needed to alleviate the issue. The price quotes were very fair and reasonable. Once I paid the first half of the estimate, they completed the work in less than 24 hours. Once the repairs were complete, I immediately could tell a difference in the home. Occasionally, the communication between the sales/customer service team and the install team was lacking... but the speed, professionalism, and solutions were right on target. I would definitely use them again if I need roof repairs.Posted on Google

Ana S. Grana58 days agoOutstanding Service from The Roofing Dudes! I had a tricky drainage issue that required relocating a downspout and completely tilting our existing gutter in the opposite direction. The Roofing Dudes sent out Ruben and Enyer, and I couldn't be happier with their work. They were extremely professional, punctual, and took the time to explain exactly how they would correct the pitch to ensure proper water flow. Their attention to detail was top-notch, and they left the work area spotless. It is rare to find contractors who care this much about the small details. If you need any gutter or roof work done right the first time, ask The Roofing Dudes!+5Posted on Google
Gary Wheat61 days agoThe Roofing Dudes did an excellent job repairing a few damaged spots on my roof. Water had been leaking in, and after several heavy rainstorms, I can confirm that they remedied the problem. Communication and scheduling was clear, timely, and reliable throughout the process, and they didn't try to upsell me on anything. I think they charge a fair rate for what you get in return. Highly recommended.Posted on Google
Jeff Padgett69 days agoI had a really good experience with The Roofing Dudes. The price was reasonable and the work was completed quickly. The repair on the eaves was so spot on that you can't even tell it was a repair!Posted on Google
Randy Walker74 days agoThe Roofing Dude came out for an inspection last week. 3 ridge shingles had blown off over time and because so many homes in our community have been getting roof replacements, we just assumed that we probably had some damage. The Dude put the shingles back in place while he was inspecting the roof and gave our roof a passing grade. Can’t beat that for service and honesty.Posted on Google
Beth A74 days agothey are the absolute BEST roofing company! I have referred many clients to them over the years so of course when it came time for a new roof personally, I reached out to them. I can honestly say from a customer's perspective, they truly are the BEST! I highly recommend them and you should call them when you need a new roof or even just a repair. They are completely honest and fair. They also made repairs to a garage door and frame, the pricing for that was a lot more reasonable than I expected.Posted on Google
Eric Foote79 days agoWas getting quotes for some roof repair and The Roofing Dudes were nothing less than outstanding. They were able to work me in and fix my issue on the same day during the inspection which took a tremendous weight off of my shoulders. Carter Pierce103 days agoWe had a great experience with The Roofing Dudes. We worked with Samuel, and he was very professional, informative, and straightforward throughout the entire process. They also had a few other guys come out to help with the repair, and everyone was easy to work with and respectful. Samuel took the time to explain everything clearly and helped us understand what actually needed to be done without trying to upsell us on unnecessary work. Their honesty and guidance saved us a ton of money, which we really appreciated. I would highly recommend Samuel and The Roofing Dudes to anyone needing roofing work done. The work and the workers deserve a ten star rating Now the timing and the communication is some thing that needs work I was told that I would receive a call either same day or next day. Then I got a text message saying hey I am your project manager and that they would call me in a few. Several hours later no call this was around 9 or ten am so I sent text messages was told still waiting But fast forward overall great work man ship and Pabalo was awesome Pablo told me he would be at my home at 8 am. Susan B142 days agoThe Roofing Dudes replaced a section of roofing that kept losing shingles due to improper installation by another company only 3 yrs after installation. Laima Jackson146 days agoProduction supervisor Ricardo came out to perform an inspection on a leaking roof at our condominium . He was extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable, as well as thorough. Really took the time to investigate where and what is leaking. Not only that, but seeing that my female neighbor and I were struggling to swap two very heavy flower pots around in our gardening endeavors, and we asked him if he had a dolly while we were trying to figure out how to get this accomplished, he promptly volunteered to help us out and immediately carried these heavy pots to a new location, we were so happy and impressed. Donna T279 days agoOn Saturday, December 27, 2025 I discovered a sudden leak on the ceiling of my house. The New Year's holiday was coming, and heavy rain was forecast for 2 days following that. In a panic I called The Roofing Dudes for the first time. To my surprise, Matt answered on the weekend. I explained my desperate need and he had an inspector at my house 2 days later! By December 31, the leak was repaired - just 4 days after calling them! As a senior citizen, I was amazed and deeply thankful for all of their employees working together to repair the leak before the heavy rain arrives! Each employee genuinely cared about my need, was respectful, and professional. The repair blends perfectly with the roof, and the charge was reasonable, This is a 5-Star company with trustworthy employees. I highly recommend them!+1Posted on Google

Michael Jones306 days agoThe Roofing Dudes are THE ONLY roofers I will trust in the Birmingham area. I initially had some work done with another company that advertises on WDJC, and unfortunately, their work was not good. The areas they supposedly repaired leaked. Then I contacted The Roofing Dudes, and saw the real difference. Every interaction I've had with The Roofing Dudes has been amazing. From Ricardo doing the initial estimate (more about him later), to Kali as my project manager, to being contacted by the company owner just as a check-in, to billing with Bianca, it's all been a night and day difference. The price was reasonable, the communication was solid, and the level of workmanship was second to none. Now to the biggest bright spot - Ricardo. Ricardo is simply amazing, He's a true pro in this industry, and spotted the shoody work and real problem immediately when he did the estimate. He's that good. And he's a great person - wonderful attitude, smart, and just a great person. When he was the one to actually do the work, I was thrilled. Ricardo backs up all that knowledge with the skill of a true craftsman. Roofing Dudes - hang on to Ricardo, because he's amazing. Overall, I am thrilled with my experience with The Roofing Dudes, and I will only make one call whenever I need roof work done. I hope you do the same.Posted on Google

Chris was very professional, always on time and worked extremely hard even though he was the only person on my job. Natalie Marion562 days agoWe have loved working with the Roofing Dudes! They have the best team of people that truly care for you and your home. We have a flat roof which requires a very skilled and knowledgeable person to handle, and Samuel was just that. Our first impression of the company was when he came out to give us an inspection and seriously just impressed us so much with his extensive knowledge and expertise. We never felt rushed or burdensome and he was happy to explain things. Jonathon was an absolute delight to work with on the sales side and never once gave the yuck “salesy” vibe like some other companies have. He was honest, patient, fair, and kind. He was a careful explainer and thoughtful listener. Bianca was a super helpful resource in letting us know the when/where/and how so we were never left wondering what was next. The crew was amazing, careful with our brand new AC units, and cleaned up BEAUTIFULLY! We have been so pleased with their workmanship. Samuel came back out to do a quality check and stayed well into the evening to make sure everything was finished up properly, and once again, was just so fun and easy to talk to. The attention to detail that went into our home from beginning to end was truly so great. I hope we never have to install another roof, but if we do, the Roofing Dudes will be the first call!+2Posted on Google

Thomas H Hearle572 days agoMarch 2025 - Another project completed! Once again another great, even better experience! This was a much larger project that my wife and I had been considering for several years. I recently retired after years of working in telecommunications and broadcast radio as a senior engineering technician, radio engineer, technical writer, and construction manager. So I drew up a 2-point perspective sketch for a 19’x10’ elevated screened and roofed deck above an existing concrete ground level patio of similar length and about 8ft wide. I sent the sketch of what we wanted it to look like to Jonathan at Roofing Dudes for a quote, which came in very close to our budget. After discussing details and making a few design changes to improve long range usefulness by putting in 12-inch floor joists on 1ft centers to make the floor rigid enough so it can easily be converted to a sun room for winter use in our later years by installing a ceramic tile floor and thermopane windows and adding some insulation, we decided to move forward with the project using Jonathan’s suggestion of installing exposed 2”x6” tongue and groove knotty pine decking above the rafters. Jonathan’s builder, Brandon, also suggested a simple way to screen the underside of the deck by sandwiching screening between the joists and the deck boards during construction as well as blocking the ends of the deck boards by picture framing them to prevent flying insects from entering between the gaps in the decking. One week later, despite a very stormy weekend and a lot of rain and wind, the end result was a stunningly beautiful rustic post and beam lean-to wood deck, with 6x6 inch 16ft tall pressure treated columns in front, close to nature, with an inside similar to a cabin in a state park, and an elegant exterior, where we can have family get-togethers and picnics without being bothered by mosquitoes, flies, no-see-ems, or other uninvited critters! We also have a great view of the sunrise and sunset, and a place where we can sit and watch wild geese flying over and listen to owls in the woods at night. Also, by roofing the deck, we simultaneously roofed the ground level back patio underneath and will be able to make much better use of it for projects outside on rainy days as well as being sheltered from the hot summer sun. Will we ever want to convert this beautiful design that Brandon and his crew built for us into a sun room? Probably not. But if we do, it’s going to be much easier and the structure we would need for it is already there. We have another idea or 2 we are hoping to build in the future. When the time comes, you can bet we will be using Roofing Dudes again! What a great company to help with realizing dreams! November 2024 - The Roofing Dudes provided excellent service. I have nothing but good things to say about this company! I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again. They were precise in their organization, placing the right people in the right place to accomplish the work. They used the best products for my Roofing needs. Jonathan Whitman649 days agoChris is the young man that came to fix my roof. I probably can't brag on him enough. He came well prepared for the job in that he had everything he needed at the start. He knew what he was doing and how to do it, and, he made it look easy. He will tell you it was easy, and maybe to him, it was. But it was not "easy" for me. I was super impressed with all the details he covered/did. Little things like sealing the nails when he fixed the metal stuff on the windows in the front. Using a magnetic wand to find nails on the back deck and the driveway. Cleaning up all (and I mean all!) the debris from roof shingles that broke. Using a blower to blow leaves so he could find debris that was under the leaves. He was super nice to me and answered all of my questions and took time to explain things I didn't understand. Yeah, he is a rock star employee and Roofing Dudes should be proud of him and the way he represents your company. The entire process was super easy. When they gave me the estimate, they stuck to the price. There were no surprises. I can't even express how awesome they are! I will be recommending yall to everyone I know.Posted on Google

QueenB676 days agoMy husband and I contacted the Roofing Dudes as well as several other roofing companies back in August. At that time, we weren’t quite ready to replace our roof. Robbie, one of the salesman, kept in contact with us over the next several months. After reviewing all of the estimates we received, we decided to go with the ROOFING DUDES; they were not the cheapest and they weren’t the most expensive. We had Robbie come back out to revisit our estimate and answer any questions we still had. We scheduled a date and paid our down payment. We were told the crew would arrive at 7:30. They were on time, which I appreciated very much. They put down tarps all around the house, over the bushes and anywhere that debris would fall. This team of several men and believe it or not one woman worked all day long. By the end of the day, we not only had our new roof, but they had also cleaned up and left our property, looking as if no one had even been here. They also came back the next day with a magnet and went over the yard and picked up any nails that may have been missed the previous day. We are also having them install their version of leaf guard on our gutters We would highly recommend the ROOFING DUDES for all your roofing needs.Posted on Google

Mike Hwang1031 days agoThese guys were very responsive and detailed. I had two other companies come over for a quote and they were nowhere near the level of detail and professionalism as the Roofing Dudes. All I had done was have a few nail pops put back in and some of my fittings resealed, and I was provided with an entire report of my roof with multiple photos. Great guys!Posted on Google

Jill Fisse1039 days agoGreat communication and responsiveness throughout the whole process. Our house is in a historic area and they were diligent in making sure the proper permits were obtained. They did a nice job with our new roof and were easy to work with. They cleaned up the yard and even came back to address the one area they missed initially due to it being dark out when they wrapped up. I would recommend this company.Posted on Google

Bryan Gunn1056 days agoMark came out and reviewed/estimated the situation quickly. He provided pictures and video (from the roof and inside the attic) that clearly pointed out the issue. We found the price to be reasonable for the work projected. The work crew arrived when promised, worked quickly, and provided pictures of the roof work. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after the work was completed. Our experience was five star!Posted on Google

Rider 04011098 days agoThis has been, by far, the best experience I have ever had with any company! It started with a tree falling on my house. I was having some issues with the inside of my house as well (not roof related) and the contractor recommended The Roofing Dudes so I gave them a call. Jonathan came out to assess the damage and to give me a quote. He was fabulous! I had only expected to get the damage fixed but he recommended that the entire roof be replaced. I was extremely skeptical that the insurance company would pay for that but he told me they would reach out to the insurance company and work with them to get it approved. Maria is the lady that has handled my case and is one of the nicest ladies I have ever met. She worked tirelessly with the insurance adjuster for weeks and kept me updated every step of the way. In the end, the insurance company paid for the roof and I didn't have to spend countless hours dealing with the insurance company. The crew came out this morning and installed my new roof and did a fantastic job. They showed up right on time and worked so hard. Andres showed me all of the before and after pics of issues I wouldn't have even thought to ask about. I can't say enough good things about this company, it's obvious to me that the employees care very much and take great pride in their work and the company. Thank you so much to Maria, Jonathan, Andres and the whole crew that helped me through this process, you guys truly have been amazing!!Posted on Google
Benjamin Melancon1101 days agoThe Roofing Dudes was recommended to me by a friend and I’m glad he did! The inspector, Johnothan, was down to earth, clear on what needed to be done and very responsive. He was able to beat a quote given by larger well known company. They were able to fit us in the schedule within a week and team came out and did the whole job in one day! Roof looks great and I feel like job was done to very high standards. I will definitely be recommending to others!Posted on Google
