Quality materials. Expert installation. A roof built to last.
New GAF Timberline UHD roof on a two-story home in Montevallo, finished February 2026. We took it down to the bare plywood deck and rebuilt it from there, with the ridges vented so the attic can breathe.
This roof came down to the bare plywood deck. Our guys rolled GAF FeltBuster synthetic underlayment over it before any shingles went on, then laid GAF Timberline UHD in straight courses from the eave up to the ridge.
Plumbing vents come up through the roof, and that opening is a common leak point. We set new molded boots over them, cut the shingle courses around each boot and ran a ring of sealant at the pipe, so water running down the slope meets the boot and not the opening.
The ridges are vented with GAF Cobra Rigid Vent 3 and capped with GAF Seal-A-Ridge. A ridge vent lets hot attic air out at the highest point, and the cap shingles cover the slot so rain sheds over it. The cap fasteners get a dab of clear sealant too.
