Quality materials. Expert installation. A roof built to last.
New GAF Timberline HDZ roof on a brick home in McCalla, finished August 2026. A chimney, two skylights and two dormers means a lot of places for water to get in, so that’s where we spent our time.
The chimney got new flashing at its base, sealed where the brick meets the metal. Flashing is the strip that turns water away from anything that sticks up through a roof, and chimneys are where old roofs usually leak first. The skylights got shingles laid tight to their frames, and the dormer walls got flashing so water runs past them.
Every pipe through a roof is a spot that can leak once its rubber boot cracks with age. The pipes got new boots, and the vent stack got its own flashing. The hips are finished with cap shingles so the edges hold up in the wind.
The shingles are GAF Timberline HDZ in Pewter Gray, straight off the bundle labels. If your roof has a chimney or skylights that worry you, we’ll send a roofer up to check it in person. The inspection is free.
